We are currently seeking a high-caliber General Manager to take full executive leadership of an established corporate entity in Switzerland specializing in international distribution and wholesale trade. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the General Manager will be responsible for defining operational strategy, driving B2B commercial expansion, and optimizing business performance across Swiss and international markets with full P&L accountability.
- Executive Leadership & Strategy: Define and execute the strategic growth plan for the Swiss entity within the international wholesale sector.
- P&L & Operations: Oversee overall financial performance (P&L), budget management, cost structure optimization, and supply chain efficiency.
- Commercial & Business Development: Drive top-level B2B commercial relationships, lead key partner negotiations, and identify new market opportunities.
- Team & Organizational Leadership: Direct, mentor, and align executive and operational teams toward strategic milestones and operational excellence.
- Governance & Compliance: Guarantee full compliance with Swiss corporate, legal, and tax regulations alongside organizational governance standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven track record as CEO, Managing Director, or General Manager within international wholesale, distribution, or complex B2B commercial sectors.
- Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrable success in full P&L oversight, corporate restructuring, or scaling operations within Switzerland or the DACH market.
- Senior-level B2B negotiation skills, strong commercial acumen, and strategic vision.
- Deep understanding of Swiss business practices and regulatory requirements.
- Languages: Native or fluent in German and English (essential). Fluency in French is a strong asset.
- Mobility: Based in Switzerland (or open to relocation), with flexibility for international business travel.
