An international leader in global logistics support and industrial automated systems is seeking a Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead complex engineering and equipment development projects. Based near Nuremberg, you will take end-to-end ownership of high-impact machinery initiatives, system solutions, and assembly lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Leadership: Direct and coordinate demanding mechanical and plant engineering projects from initial design and development through to implementation and site acceptance.
- Lifecycle & Hardware Management: Oversee new product development, system solution enhancements, and complex assembly repairs/retrofits.
- Core PM Governance: Maintain strict accountability for project timelines, budgets, quality standards, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Serve as the central communication link across internal R&D, engineering, and operations teams, while actively managing relationships with external clients, suppliers, and key partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related industrial discipline.
- Experience: Proven track record in technical project management within mechanical/plant engineering, industrial automation, or technical product development.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of complex machinery, drive systems, or plant layout implementations.
- Working Style: Structured, solution-driven, and autonomous approach with strong assertiveness, executive communication, and decision-making capabilities.
- Languages: Professional fluency in both German and English is essential.
