Financial Clerk (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

The incumbent manages the value added tax (VAT) refund process for all serviced agencies. The daily duty is the tracking of VAT relevant vendor payments to ensure all valid VAT invoices are collected for quarterly submission to the Austrian Ministry of Finance in a timely fashion as well as the tracking of VAT reimbursements to ensure they are processed to the correct fiscal data. In addition, the incumbent is designated as the alternate cashier and performs other office administration tasks. The position is full-time (40 hours per week).

Qualifications and competencies required:

  • Completion of upper secondary schooling in business studies/commercial school is required.
  • Two years of full-time work experience in administrative, bookeeping, or related financial field.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial principles and processes and knowledge of Austrian VAT rules/regulations.
  • Good working knowledge in English; Fluency in German.
  • Must be organized and a highly detail-oriented team player.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and an intermediate user level in Microsoft Excel.
