The U.S. Embassy in Vienna is recruiting for a
Procurement Agent (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
The incumbent works in the General Services Office.
- procures a variety of goods and services for the three U.S. Missions in Vienna (Tri-Mission),
- acts as official purchase card holder procuring goods and services up to USD 10,000,
- is responsible for procurement of subscriptions/publications,
- provides administrative support with tasks in databases and purchase systems.
Qualifications and competencies required:
- Fluency in English and German
- Necessary education and work experience:
- Either:
- Two-years of post-secondary eduction
- 3 years experience in office administration and/or purchasing
- Or:
- Completion of secondary school (e.g. Matura; HAK)
- 5 years experience in office administration and/or purchasing
