ISG job portal
What is the ISG job portal?
The ISG Jobportal is a platform on which all job advertisements, which are managed by our ISG consultants, are published.
Is the entry in the job portal free of charge?
Yes, the registration in the ISG job portal is free of charge.
How long does it take to fill out the profile?
You need about 15 minutes.
How can I register in the job portal?
You can either register with LinkedIn, Xing or Facebook or with an e-mail address and a password.
What is the exact registration process?
- If you decide to register using an e-mail address and password, please enter your e-mail address and a password of your choice in the field provided. Then click on Send.
- A PIN will then be sent to your e-mail address. Please enter the PIN in the field provided and click Submit.
- You will then be taken to your dashboard, where you can check the completeness of your profile. Under quick links you can manage applications, favorites and search profiles, view your profile, change settings and use the service area.
In the dashboard, you can also view your last visit, as well as the date of the last update of your documents.
What are the advantages of registering with the job portal?
With just a few clicks, you can apply for a job within a very short time. By registering, you will also be included in database searches, which increases the probability of receiving a job recommendation from us. Further advantages are for example the possibility of saving favorites and the creation of a search criteria.
Do the job advertisements only apply to jobs in Austria?
No, ISG Personalmanagement GmbH works internationally and is represented in 36 countries worldwide. Therefore, you will find many job offers from other countries in the job portal.
In the job portal you also have the possibility to filter the job advertisements by the place of employment (the desired country).
How can I narrow down the search?
To specify your search, please use the fields provided for this purpose, which are displayed in the results view.
The results can be narrowed down by keywords, occupational fields, sectors, career levels, job types and places of employment. You can also sort the jobs by date.
Can I save favourites?
Yes, you can save your favourites. When you search for a job, simply click on the “remember” sign next to the job offer.
Can I activate a search profile?
Yes, you can save a search profile and activate the JobAlert. This way you will always automatically receive the latest job offers matching your specifications!
How can I change my password?
Go to the settings in the dashboard and choose Change password.
How can I delete my profile?
Go to the settings in the dashboard and click on Delete profile.
I would like to apply. What are the options?
If you want to apply for an advertised position, you can use the Apply button if you are registered. Before you send the application, you can check your personal data again and upload a CV and a letter of motivation.
I would like to apply without being registered on the job portal. How do I proceed?
If you are not registered on the job portal, you can send your application to the e-mail address provided.

Are rejections sent automatically?
No, due to the large number of applications we use templates, but these are sent personally by the responsible consultant after a close examination of the documents and a comparison with the desired profile of the client.
Why do I receive e-mails from ISG at night or on Sundays & holidays?
Sometimes the sending of e-mails is automatically delayed in order to save IT resources. Sometimes our consultants have to work on Sundays & holidays if the project requires it.
Why do I not receive any job offers despite a complete profile?
There are various reasons. Two common examples are:
- there are many active applications in your area that are processed before our consultants perform a database search. If the position is already filled as a result, no job offers are sent to applicants from the database.
- you are above the customer’s expectations despite having the right qualifications based on your salary expectations. Please check your salary data for up-to-dateness.
Will my data be passed on to third parties?
No, your data will be kept strictly confidential and will not be passed on without your agreement.
Will my personal data be passed on for advertising purposes?
No, your data will be kept strictly confidential.
Will my documents be forwarded without my knowledge?
No, your documents will be treated strictly confidential and will not be passed on without your consent.
Can other companies access my documents?
No, only ISG consultants have access to your documents.
