Biography
After graduating from high school, Markus Peter successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at an international machine manufacturing company in Germany, focusing on sales, finance, and marketing. He worked in the commercial sector for several years before moving into an internal recruiting position at a leading international software manufacturer in Munich. Following this, he transitioned to executive search.
With over 25 years of professional experience in executive search, he joined the ISG team in Germany at the beginning of 2026. As a Managing Partner, he independently manages national and international search and selection projects. He supports clients in the IT sector (software/hardware) with a focus on consulting, strategy, technology, sales, transformation, digitalization, and business consulting. He also advises clients in the area of international strategy consulting, specializing in digital transformation (all areas) and general strategy consulting. Furthermore, he has experience in the automotive, machine manufacturing, engineering automation, and insurance industries.
