Biography

Jake Barbee is a distinguished executive search partner with over 15 years of experience advising high-growth companies, global enterprises, and investment groups on critical leadership hires. His industry expertise spans Legal, Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas, and Private Family Offices.

He has successfully executed hundreds of retained and contingency-based searches for C-suite and senior leadership roles, including General Counsel, CFOs, COOs, and Division Presidents across the U.S. and global markets. His client roster includes Fortune 500 companies, private equity-backed ventures, global law firms, and ultra-high-net-worth family offices seeking discreet and trusted partnership.

Prior to joining ISG, Jake led in-house executive search functions for multinational staffing and HR firms, as well as public and private companies. He also founded Catalyst Talent Group, a boutique search firm focused on executive and strategic hiring across North America.

Jake’s academic foundation, a dual degree from the University of Miami in Philosophy (B.S.) and Media Communications (B.A.), reflects both his analytical rigor and his ability to communicate with clarity and conviction across audiences.
