Jake Barbee is a high-impact executive search leader with over 15 years of experience delivering C-level and senior leadership talent across multiple high-performance industries, including Legal, Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas, and Private Family Offices.
Recognized for his sharp market instincts and precision matchmaking, Jake has led hundreds of retained and contingent searches for leading global companies, emerging market challengers, and discreet family enterprises. His placements span General Counsel, CFOs, COOs, and highly specialized functional leaders across the U.S. and international markets.
Having served as both an external headhunter and internal executive recruiter, Jake brings a rare dual-lens perspective, translating business objectives into strategic human capital execution. Prior to joining ISG, he built and led agency and in-house executive search teams for multiple high-growth organizations while also founding his own firm, Catalyst Talent Group.
Jake’s personal network includes over 3,000 senior-level executives and investors, and he is routinely relied upon by Boards, PE firms, and founders for talent strategy, succession planning, and confidential replacement searches.
