The “1 hour-principle” for more personal innovation, freedom, and flexibility!

You are plagued by the inner desire to display more innovation, flexibility, and openness despite the daily demands of business life. If so, I can reveal a principle to you today that is amazingly easy to apply and leads to success step by step, opening oneself to new perspectives in life and adapting to necessary change in general.

Our daily work is often packed with thousands of things, and over time, a certain routine develops that can be good initially but also counterproductive overall. Many people fear change and innovation because they believe it will jeopardize their daily routine, on which, after all, so much depends, like a monthly salary, for instance. People cannot be transformed 180-degrees overnight. Change always must originate within you personally and can take time, and must not be done by a radical approach per se.

There is a technique that allows you to unlock more freedom and new opportunities in life without having to radically leave your comfort zone for the entire amount of your daytime. Take an hour each day this year where you practice doing things differently than usual. If you are always driving on the same roadway and never take other trips, like to the mountains, onto the highway, or into the city, then you will miss many things in life.

The same applies to relationships in your personal life as well as in business. In business this could mean approaching other, more exclusive customer segments, for at least 1 hour a day, for instance. Sometimes it is completely necessary to leave the old routine, to set things aside, but with a step-by-step plan. Usually, when change and new behaviour happen radically and too fast, this often leads to increased frustration levels, causing people to return to their original starting point, and then things are usually even worse than at the beginning.

I want to express a principle, which allows appreciating more personal openness and diversity step by step and opens life to a more “experimental side of things,” in addition to the classic approaches, where you usually try doing things repeatedly the same. Go out of your comfort zone for an hour a day and the rest of your time enjoying your “safety net,” working as usual.

Six months later, you can try to increase managing things differently, for two hours a day. You can try doing things completely differently, without fundamentally questioning or risking your general direction. This is a safe method: gradually introducing more innovation, flexibility, and openness, and thus bringing new perspectives into your life, without putting fundamental decisions at extreme risk.

You will see how you yourself can benefit from this insightful concept, which allows innovation to happen gradually. Do it for one to two hours every day, and then after a few months increase it to three hours. But please be aware about doing things completely differently. Do not just change them a little bit. Within these 2 hours, change your approach dramatically and do things the way you have always wanted to do them, or the way you completely contradict your established behavioural patterns?

Consciously turn the concept upside down and try other things completely risk-free, just as a part of your life, not a completely changed one hundred percent. You will see how, from time to time, you will achieve greater success, new perspectives will open, and you will reach goals you never even dreamed of. Now compare the results from before, achieved under your old routine, with your new concept of “step-by-step innovation.” Increase the frequency by one hour every year or every six months. In a few years, your entire day will be filled with new things, new perspectives, and new insights, which will then become part of your new good old routine. As we all know, today’s innovative things quickly become the tomorrow’s new normal. This means we are dealing with a cycle. Never stop giving yourself at least one hour every day to consciously doing things in a unique way.

“Jump over your own shadow” and enjoy a life of abundance!”
