Robert Wallner has more than two decades of experience in the banking industry and brings comprehensive expertise in management, risk control, finance, regulation, and transformation. As a former board member of a regional bank, he understands the requirements of modern financial institutions first-hand – from strategic decision-making to operational implementation. Senior roles in several Austrian credit institutions have shaped his career. He has a solid economic and legal education, which shapes his analytical strength and his understanding of complex role profiles.
Today, Robert Wallner works as an independent management consultant and, since March 2026, supports clients as Managing Partner at ISG, with a focus on the financial services sector. He combines industry knowledge with leadership experience and a clear understanding of how strategic decisions, operational excellence, and a coherent cultural alignment interact – strengthening companies through tailored HR consulting in a sustainable way.
He stands for clear communication, solution-oriented thinking, and a consistent focus on long-term value – for clients, candidates, and organizations alike. His ambition is not merely to accompany change, but to actively shape it.
