Lee Fossey is a seasoned global talent acquisition leader with more than 28 years of experience building high-performing recruitment organizations and guiding teams across North America, and EMEA. Known for a steady, strategic leadership style, he has earned a reputation for creating trust, elevating hiring standards, and delivering measurable impact for Fortune 500 clients, fast-growing startups, and healthcare firms. His career reflects a consistent ability to connect exceptional talent with organizations shaping the future of their industries.
Throughout his career, Lee has held leadership roles spanning executive search, healthcare consulting, and regional recruitment operations. For the last 16 years after launching WDP Healthcare LLC in 2010, he has built an Executive Search Practice and Consultancy focused on C-Suite placement across the healthcare market in the USA and Consulting focused on the design and development of internal Talent Acquisition Teams for his Healthcare Clients, ranging from 10 – 50 FTEs.
Prior to launching his own business, Lee served as a Regional Director at Manpower Inc., where he oversaw 12 branches in Southern California. Lee was responsible for the growth of the region from annual revenues of $45M to more than $70M, building out an internal structure to include high volume temporary positions and was instrumental in developing Manpower’s permanent placement offering in the Region building a 20+ person team. Earlier in his career, he also held leadership positions at Ajilon, Pro-Trades Connection and Labor Ready UK.
Lee brings deep expertise in executive search and HR Consulting, spanning C-suite, VP, director-level, and specialized healthcare talent across North America. As a talent acquisition consultant, he helps organizations design, build, and optimize internal TA functions while advising on search strategy, candidate assessment, and offer negotiation. His consultative approach makes him a strategic partner to clients, not just a recruiter.
